Beaver (Castor Canadensis):
-Breeding: Dec-May (peaking in January)
-Family group, they mate for life
-Gestation: 128 days
-Litter Size: 2-6 (2-3 average)
-One litter per year
-Do not reproduce until age 3 – only 20% of females can reproduce at 2 years old
-Beavers spend most of their time in the water, only coming onto land to rest, rear young and feed
-Beavers have the ability trees down to construct dams and lodges

-Beaver removal from: ponds, streams, rivers, lakes, other water sources
